Black Elegant Vintage Cotton Tea Skirt Extender

This is great to go under those flowy or A line summer maxi dresses. It makes them fall beautifully and gives them enough fullness to see the true shape of the dress.

I bought this hoping to find an alternative to the satin slips that seem to be the only options available in stores. I wanted something that provided more resistance to the tendency for my skirts to press up against my legs when I walk. I don't want people's eye focusing on that area—call me modest but whatevs. This does a great job of providing that buffer but without being heavy at all. It's quite comfortable and cool compared to satiny ones. I'm going to buy more in other colors.

I have purchased 3 of these now, in different lengths & colours - they are excellent slips in every way- fabric, quality of workmanship, style - the slip is sewn in two pieces, with the second (the lower) piece being slightly ruffled, giving the slip some fullness and making it useable as a petticoat to wear under gathered skirts & dresses, giving them a little extra fullnessTo wash, I rinse them out by hand using borax, and hang up to dry - I do like to iron out the wrinklesRecommend!

Most of my Summer dresses don't have a liner, so I purchased this and a white one to solve that problem. Works great. It's the same thickness of a liner that would have been sewn in. I like that it's a bit fuller on the bottom because the dresses that I own have fuller skirts. This probably wouldn't work for a straighter skirt. I'm 5 ft and the 30" hits about two inches above my ankle.

Lovely fit and very comfi to wear. It has just the right thickness to it to give it shape and stop my thin summer dress from been completely see through. Feels good quality and should wash well.
