I ordered the 100% Cotton Pettipants Lace Trim to actually wear under my dressy pants to give them that nice flow look.I haven't been able to find Pettipants in years as I always used to wear them under my dress pants instead of panty-hose. The feel is very smooth and they are also great for wearing under long midi-dresses to complete the smoothness of your dresses. Highly recommend for those who still like wearing pettipants like I do.

Yes, these are all cotton lounge pants. Trimmed with a subtle finishing touch of a very narrow band of delicate lace at the pant leg hems, these are made of very light weight fabric that breathes easily. Narrow band of elastic at waist.The XL is about the US equivalent of Large; generously fluffy, the torso and legs are wide provide ample room for movement and airflow. Just as shown in the listing's images.So how ould you wear these pants? These are too thin to wear alone, but that's not their intended use. Wear them as lounge pants, or pajamas, sure, but their best use is as a supplemental layer under another garment, such as a sari or cheongsam, even a long skirt or dress, intentionally allowing the lacey hem to show, but using the pants to cover your legs. This could be added coverage in warm weather, open weave enough for a breeze to blow through and in cooler these are an extra layer under a long dress or maxi skirt.Well tailored, light weight and breathable. The cotton is lightweight so it won't add bulk or warmth while wearing.STYLEThis is a shorter above knee style which will allow me to wear this with a variety of different lengths of skirts. The waistband is a simple thin piece of elastic. The trim is simple and small trim which makes it look nice, but does not add a lot of extra weight to the edges.FITI got XXL and I wear a size 16 misses US. These fit me well enough to wear under skirts comfortably. If they shrink a little bit, I might have to add a gusset in the crotch to keep them fitting okay.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a sipmple pair of slip pants which is comfortable in hot weather, and allows me to wear them under a variety of skirts.MY RATINGFIVE STARS so far. Hopefully these will not shrink. They are a nice lightweight slip that feels nice under skirts and they breathe well too. I recommend them if you like to have cotton to wear in warmer weather. I do suggest if in doubt that you size up. Cotton tends to shrink sometimes.
