I love this item. It was the first one I purchased because of the fact it didn‘t look like shiny polyester fabric like most you’ll find today in lacy/embroidered styles. It has a nice classic, matte look like embroidered cotton. It stays on easily and covers my chest (which allows me to wear more tops without worrying about necklines) but isn‘t too cumbersome. I wash it in a garment bag and air dry it.I’ve bought four—two black (one for use and one for when the one I use becomes frayed) and two white (one of which I dyed with Rit dye to make it beige and the second one I just purchased to keep it white).I tried buying a veil on AliExpress which used the exact same images but the item was different with more childlike embroidery/trim and a more synthetic look, so everyone should grab this style while it‘s available.Usually I admire something someone else has in some way but I favor my own (this) mantilla over all of the others (and there are many) that I’ve seen at church.
